Primerus Member
The International Society of Primerus Law Firms is a network of small, carefully screened independent law firms that have earned the right to display the Primerus seal of quality and who have agreed to uphold and commit to six key principles. Candidates for membership must have the maximum AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Further, a law firm must submit to a rigorous evaluation which includes candid assessments from judges, fellow attorneys, current and former clients, bar associations and malpractice insurance carriers.
What it Means to Be a Primerus Law Firm
Once, lawyers were respected, and the law was revered. If such respect and reverence are ever again to prevail, it will be incumbent upon lawyers, and lawyers only, to make it so.
With that duty in mind, the International Society of Primerus Law Firms was formed. Its members dedicate themselves to:
- Educating the public and serving their communities;
- Providing their clients an excellent work product at a reasonable cost;
- Continuous pursuit of their own professional education;
- Civility in their dealings with the bench and bar;
- An irreproachable integrity that guides all their decisions, large and small.
The Society accepts only those members who so dedicate themselves and who, further, have demonstrated a history of similar dedication in the past.
Finally, the Society pledges itself to support each member lawyer in upholding these standards and to constant pursuit and maintenance of the public's trust.
Code of Professional Conduct
As a member of The International Society of Primerus Law Firms, we pledge ourselves and our firm to the six pillars of Primerus:
- Integrity
- Excellence of Work Product
- Reasonable Fee Structure
- Professional Education
- Civility to Bench and Bar
- Community Service
